1. Strongbow Stage: Summer 2007 - present, nationwide UK music festivals
Brief
To negotiate festival site spaces and program a music stage for Strongbow Cider at UK music festivals
Response
- First off, we negotiated contract deals on site space fees and pouring deals with promoters at Isle of Wight, V, Rockness, Sonisphere and Creamfields festivals
- Programming the stage to mix new live acts and established DJ's, we booked 180 performance slots, ranging from DJs such as Norman Jay MBE to fresh new live acts such as Fenech Soler. We have launched the festival careers of many credible artists, including Two Door Cinema Club, Jaguar Skills, Goldierocks and many more...
- Our talent bookings covered the full sonic spectrum to suit each festival, including House, DnB, Dubstep, Metal and more
- Reach figures - approx 500,000
2. SkyRide for Sky TV: Summer 2009 - present, nationwide UK
Brief
To create and program event content appealing to families for the SkyRide national cycling events in association with Sky TV and the British Cycling Association, with the aim to encourage 1million more people to take up cycling.
Response
- Live stage and route entertainment was programmed across 21 events nationwide
- Liaising with various Sky Channels, we incorporated Sky related entertainment into the event content, including Sky Arts, Nickelodeon, Sky 1, Sky Sports, Sky News
- We brought this all to life by integrating athletes and Team Sky cyclists into the event content, further infusing the Sky TV/ British Cycling relationship
- The Mayor of London SkyRide event attracted 80,000 participants
3. Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange 2010 - present, nationwide UK
Brief
To produce a series of concerts in association with Smirnoff Vodka's Global campaign, programming entertainment & producing the live shows
Response
- Performance fees and global usage rights deals were negotiated by OURKIDBROTHER with all the talent, which included Tinie Tempah, Example, Jaguar Skills, Zane Lowe and more...
- We also produced all elements of the live show production, and show-called the entire series of events nationwide
- For live event filming, we liaised with MTV and a USA based TV Production company
- Last but not least, we managed all talent authorisations for footage use in TV and online promotional campaigns, post-event on a global scale
4. FIFA Interactive World Cup: May 2009 & May 2010, Barcelona Spain
Brief
To curate a mini football festival and program the live stage content for the FIFA Interactive Global Gaming World Cup Final.
Response
- Working with International Production teams to curate the live element of the event, we programmed the stage to host 32 global finalists playing knock-out tournaments with 8 rounds of live gaming
- All this we scripted, producing stage schedules and show-calling 8 hours of live activity
- Gaming was interspersed with football and music related entertainment, including Football Tricksters, Beatboxers and dancers
- Groove Armada's Andy Cato closed the show with a DJ set as the sun set on Barcelona beach... Superstylin!
5. Chicago Arts Center: NYE 2009/10, Chicago USA
Brief
To curate & produce a bespoke nightlife event in Chicago USA to celebrate the new decade
Response
- First things first - the face: we negotiated the deal to secure Global Musician & Producer Mark Ronson as curator
- Working with Ronson, we then booked the line-up and drove the campaign amplification via social networking sites and traditional street marketing
- Ronson headlined the event, and other live acts booked included The Drums, The Virgins & The Airbourne Toxic Event
- We also devised a competition for an unsigned act to win the opening slot, using social media to drive voting - the 6 most popular acts went on a mini tour of Chicago, with the winning act selected by an online public vote
- For the live event, we scripted, produced & show called the entire show
- This led to our securing of the first gig review of the new decade on TimeOutChicago's homepage
6. England & Wales Cricket Board: Summer 2010 - present, Nationwide
Brief
To work with ECB in modernising the T20 Cricket Series making it more appealing to a younger audience
Response
- We started by securing the usage rights to a modern dance track for use as the banging T20 theme tune
- Then we programmed a playlist of modern popular music for all of the ground PAs around the country
- In order to create a USA Basketball game style atmosphere, we curated a variety of entertainment elements across the matches, including dancers, cheerleaders and live bands
- With all this great content created, we negotiated talent usage rights for TV & online promotional campaigns
7. New York Public Library: October 2009, New York City
Brief
To create & produce a live event for a Draught Master Bar tending Competition
Response
- To deliver this event for the world famous iconic New York Public Library (as featured in Sex and the City, and Ghostbusters Movies) we liaised closely with USA-based production companies
- We wanted to add a showbiz element to the competition so we started by creating bespoke content and entertainment
- The show - called the 7 hour event - was fully scripted and produced by OURKIDBROTHER
- To add the final sparkle, we also produced the event's after-party, booking Tom Middleton to DJ
